Many places. but not all
Years ago I used to catch a bus from the south hills village Crowne Plaza hotel. It was a dump I thought.
Yesterday I gave a presentation there. Now the place still looks like an air shelter from the outside.
But inside.....OMG...what a renovation. Modern but not trendy. Restaurant food for lunch was low priced, fast and delicious.
The staff was the friendliest I have encountered outside of the South.
Pittsburgh service providers are known for their charming provincialism, but not their high level of service.
These folks were the absolute best.
If you are coming into town and want to stay where everything is within a couple miles (except Heinz field) I suggest you stay there.
Hell take the T to the game.

There is a hotel or motel (whatever) that was just built on Washington Road in Mt Lebanon right near a vibrant business district. Decent food/drink within easy walking distance and super easy access to the T.

Stayed at that Crowne Plaza for Steeler game last year, were not many options. It was ok to say the least, I did not have my family with me so it served its purpose. I wonder if updates were done after my stay.

"I don't like the sound of that. A lot of amenities disappear when an 'H' turns into an 'M'."
It's a Springhill Suites. T Station right below and numerous Restaurants all walking distance if you want that after you gt back after the game. Never stayed there just live nearby.

I was there for a meeting a month or so ago. In a weird spot but seemed nice. AC was cranked.
