Rough start to the year. Georgia, FSU & Texas A&M will be without starting QB's for a while. Alabama loses 2 starting LB's.

I know many here feel we are the only team to experience bad luck but fortunately looks like we got through week 1 unscathed. Unless you count losing Wirginis for the year.

The guy we saw last night was going to be 2nd team until #1 was lost for the season during their camp.

When PITT loses a key player/starter the next man up is a three star.

it used to be that way here under Jackie Sherrill. You were injured and you might never be heard from again. Remember Willie Collier was the starting WR, went down to an injury and replaced by Dwight Collins. The rest is history.

The guy we saw last night was going to be 2nd team until #1 was lost for the season during their camp.

That was their starting RB, Dedrick Mills, but he was kicked off the team, not injured. They also had their #2 transfer when he was clearly behind Mills, so they essentially lost their top 2 RBs. At QB they had a 4 man battle and TaQuon Marshall won the job.

UGA lost their starting QB (TBD how long) to injury in week 1, as mentioned in the OP.
