I was listening to Zeise on the radio and he was talking a lot about PITT basketball and spring football while I was listening.

He said from a reporter perspective this spring shouldn't be interesting since there is no QB controversy.

He then later mentioned a few things I found interesting:

He said this spring should be interesting since PITT is switching from the pro-style to the spread. That was the exact language he used. He didn't say "more multiple" or "more shotgun" or anything like that. He said PITT was switching to the spread, period.

I know some on here have mentioned there will be more shotgun (pistol) and no huddle, but still found Zeise's comment interesting.

He then took a few shots at Fraud Graham saying how Graham thought his offense was great, but he rammed that offense down Tino's throat and it was a disaster.

Zeise also said this year should be better than Graham's year since "Voytik is tailor made for the spread" type of offense. Zeise didn't seem at all concerned about the offense. Pointed out how from a QB perspective a spread will be better than a pro style this year.

Zeise then made a comment about the spring game at Highmark Stadium. He mentioned that it is the first time fans can see PITT in the new script uniforms. They he corrected himself (almost like he realized he said something he shouldn't have) and said "well at least the helmets."
I don't know if he may have spilled the beans there or not. He obviously knows we had the helmets last year, so I didn't know what to make of that comment.

Just thought I'd pass those comments on since Zeise is more than just a reporter. He has a son on the team who plays offense, so he may know more about the offense this year.
