Interesting that their best player and MAAC preseason POY is now in the portal. He played shortly with Greg Elliot at Marquette and I believe one of our video coordinators was also at Marquette during that time so we there's a link there. Could we get him?
Sounds like the AD got an extension so he went to the President and did a WTF. He ended up getting let go because of the friction between him and the AD.
He only had this season left on his contract. If you are a college coach, football or basketball, and your AD won't sign you to an extension before you get to the last year of your deal you aren't long for the job.
A friend knows him and said off the court issues contributed to this. He’s a scumbag like his mentor Pitino but clearly can’t coach like him.

I had forgotten that he was the guy who was hired at South Florida but lied on his resume and was let go immediately. For some reason, Manhattan welcomed him back.
