Interesting tweets about Coach Duzz

I can see him leaving for MSU, or maybe OSU (not sure how deep OSU fandom runs in Youngstown). So to say he will never leave is a bit myopic. But I don't think we have to worry about him being poached otherwise.

True. Most schools do not have the same head coach they had 5-6 years ago. However as his friend suggested, if Pitt continues to give him what he needs to succeed, then it will take a big time school with big time money to pry him away.

I didn't take it literally either. I do agree with what you said here. I hope we're correct anyway.

Utterly fantastic. I'd run threw a brick wall for Narduzzi.

I think he'd leave for MSU if Dantonio retired in the next year or 2. But lets say he's here 4-5 years and has built into a perennial Coastal contendor, what would the great appeam be of going back to MSU. Its not home, he would have been living in Pgh almost as long and wont have to deal with OSU and Mich

I thought the same thing here as well. MSU could be tempting but if he built something here why leave? Barring a scandal (or another Meyer burnout) Meyer and Harbaugh should be around for quite a while.

I am not sure. Michigan State was really Pitt before Dantonio got there. So it is not like this huge program. And tOSU job, unless Tom Herman is at Texas, I see him as the eventual successor to Urban Meyer.

I'm not saying OSU would necessarily go after him, just that I don't see him passing on the opportunity. I don't think he would be courted by any SEC/Big 12 (no southern roots) or Pac-12 (no western roots, not a stylistic fit) teams, so that really leaves the big players in the Big 10 (I excluded UM because they seem like an even less likely courter than OSU). He helped build MSU to what it is today, so unless they've fallen on hard times and we become a playoff contender, I don't see him passing up the chance to become Dantonio's successor (and I'm sure he would be a top pick).

MSU is paying a ton to Dantonio and has way more money to play with than Pitt. Dantonio has made it into a destination job and Dooz is still beloved there. If they want Doozi someday they will throw a whole lot of $$$ at him.

Coach Pat shows he is a coach how his Players work so hard and are devoted to him by playing better and I trust President YSU Tressel when he said, i think Pitt found their coach that will stay a long time.

Once he starts to win 10 games every year and rebuilds the Programs, no reason to leave and reflects one's values and brings back memories of his boyhood.

Pitt found him and up to Pitt to keep him, and Coach Pat wanted to be at Pitt a perfect fit for him as far as I am concern.

I'm not a big Hondo fan, but from what I've heard, Dantonio plans on being around a while. I expect Narduzzi to be around awhile as well at Pitt.

Both cases are as long as the admins have their act together as well.
