This kid will be lucky to finish this game the way his is getting pounded. Let hope we can keep it up and cause some more turn overs. Defense is playing pretty good.

Iowa did a better job of protecting him in the 2nd half. Not as many hits occurred on him.

Pitt did beat the crap out of CJB but he kept fighting.

I'm sure he'll be sore as hell tomorrow.

So far in 2015, I have seen the 2008 Iowa-Pitt game revisited. The Week 3 Iowa-ISU game was revisited, since Iowa kicked the game winner at Kinnick.

The 2014 Iowa-Pitt game was revisited. It was a hip that Pitt knocked Jake Rudock out of the game with, and C.J. Beathard came in and led Iowa from a 10 point deficit and win at Pitt.

Pitt overcame the 10 point deficit themselves.

Tyler Boyd catches 10 passes again. Scores a TD finally, but is held to 23 less yards receiving.

Heck of a 4 game series. Iowa went on 4th down in 2008, and Pitt stuffed Iowa. Pitt didn't go for it on fourth down ... a surprise.

He was the difference in the game-he made a large number of key plays- very much what you want from a QB. Nice arm and pocket presence.

I hope this doesn't come across as sour grapes, but last night's game was one of those games where the team that had the ball last wins the game.

If Pitt had one more possession, the way that they were moving the ball, they had a great shot to score, too.

But give the Hawkeyes credit: they did what they had to do.

As I said earlier in the week - I wish that we had a an extended home 'n home series with those guys. Great crowds, great competition. I think that an extended series could have the potential to turn Pitt-Iowa into a rare OOC rivalry.

Price was injured in the 2nd quarter and didn't return. That is a huge reason we didn't get as much pressure
