Xavier can match anything Pitt offers and Mack is at his alma mater and at a program probably bettet than Pitt. No way we get him.

McCaffrey intrigues me because he has taken 2 completely different teams to the 2nd Round. At Siena, he had a mid-major full of inner city players. At Iowa, he has a team of white Midwestern boys and has done well. The schools couldn't be any more different but McCaffrey adapted his recruiting to each.

Plus he is from Philly and played at Wake so he knows the ACC and maybe has some Philly connects.

McCaffrey would be a horrible choice. Will Wade is a far better choice than him.

McCaffery is nice, but not nearly as good as Dixon. That would be a step down. He recruits no better than Jamie and is probably a worse coach.

Yeah I don't why anyone would be so down on Chris Mack. Look at the past few Xavier coaches, they've all moved on to have good careers at bigger schools. Obviously doesn't mean much for Mack's future career, but I think he is going to get a chance somewhere and prove his worth. If Dixon leaves, why not Pitt for Mack?

He's solid, but makes $3.3 million per year. Much better hires out there to get bang for the buck. You need a Coach and Top Flight Elite assistants, not just a coach.
