Is Elliot Healthy?

I think it’s more of a deal where the lower leg surgeries he’s had have taken some of his burst and have limited his endurance. So he’s “healthy,” but maybe isn’t quite the same guy as he was before the injuries. They had to do a lot of injury management with him last year at Marquette. I think he’s still a good enough athlete to play at this level, but it seems like he went from being a really good athlete to just an average one. It’s why I think keeping him at around 15-20 minutes would be the best thing for him. Because at the end of the day, Horton was just okay athletically, too, and I think Elliott’s a better shooter.

Yeah 13 9 also expressed how he was great defensively but dramatically fell off in that area

Question is whether this is a permanent loss of athleticism or a temporary one that didnt have enough recovery time. Would be nice if it were the latter.

Yeah that would be great. But even if it’s permanent, I think he still projects as being pretty good, it might just not be “pretty good for 25-30 minutes.”
