This guy Stallings cant be as bad as most of you are making him out to be! Maybe this guy will be great! Someone at PITT sees something they like! How could the PITT top people support a bad hire!

If the PITT administration can't handle hiring a "freaken" basketball coach they should shut down the U and save taxpayers a bunch of money!

Some of the top coaches turned the job down but there were a lot of young coaches ready to jump on board!

But if this is a bad hire it could impact Narduzzi and football. Narduzzi isn't stupid he'll look at this and maybe say the PITT administration isn't serious about sports.

I was hoping for an upgrade since winning more basketball games and winning at The Pete helps both basketball and football recruiting.

As I said if these PITT leaders cant handle this rather simple situation they should all lose their jobs!

At a minimum, Gallagher just wasted a ton of good will that he had built up in the past months. Monumentally stupid. I guess he was too busy whining about the need for increased appropriations from the State. Nice to see that we're spending the taxpayer dollars wisely.
