Is it just me or does the steelers offense look just like the Pitt offense...

I know they each have their own offensive coordinators, but MY GOD, the steelers (a team that I do not root for) offense looks pathetic.
Does Dionte Johnson have some photos of tomlin cheating on his wife? Does he have photos of tomlin attending a Gerry Sandusky over night camp as a youth??
At the point in time that this is being written, rosthlisberger has attempted 10 passes and SEVEN of them were towards Johnson?? What about their most "exciting" player, Chase Claypool? He has had ZERO thrown his way.
Put the Pitt uniforms on the team playing the Colts and it would look like whipple's offense out there.
Amazing.

Nothing beats crossing patterns that are caught for a one yard loss.

thankfully the nfl doesn’t call penalties on pick plays since it’s the base of our offense.

each play they have like 3-4 receivers run within 5 yards of the LOS. I don’t get it. This doesn’t open up the run game, makes it easy for passes to be bat away and is causing us to be so vanilla.

No running game. QB can’t see the field, has no confidence in his arm and the head coach is a clock management idiot.

The difference I see is James Connor in college was a beast. Straight up north and south runner.

The James Connor of the Steelers is trying to be Barry Sanders, and it's going to cost him his job .

2 different offenses. He is running out of the shotgun with the Steelers.

Pickett's arm is much stronger than Ben's. He's shot and needs put to pasture.

so that explains Connors production, or lack of?

Connor would help himself immensely (not to mention his entire team) if he ran the way he did at Pitt, regardless of the formation.

In the postgame pressers, Big Ben mentioned himself calling the plays more and more in the second half. It worked today and it’s worked all season long. If that’s the case, why haven’t they allowed him to do it the past three+ weeks?

Maybe it hurts more in the league?

Yeah, but you have to remember that Ben says that Ben calls the plays all the time when things are going good, and makes no mention of it at all when things are going bad. I wonder why that is?

I believe the LV raiders offense and the Pitt offense mirror each other, the raiders can get in the red zone and end up kicking field goals, can't score TDs

The Raiders have really good deep threats as well, but if they don’t get in on the long plays it becomes a struggle.

Pitt's OL at the end of the year was better than the Steelers' has been for the last month
