How are TCU, Baylor, and Houston this good? Non-traditional programs. Throw OKST in there who has mostly TX players.

I dont get it. My thought is that Texas is under recruited considering the amount of talent whereas a state like Florida is over receuited. The entire ACC, SEC, and B10 recruits FL. Who recruits Texas besides the Big 12 and some blue bloods?

Deffinetly not the U of Texas

Texas high school football is huge. Lots of talent trying to get those kids out of Texas is the challenge. Ok, ok state, Missouri have all been recruiting in the state it takes a fee years to build that trust with hs coaches in the state.

UT at Austin is leaking high quality recruits like a sinking ship to Baylor, TAMU, Houston, OKST, and also TCU. Once they get pull those recruits back in the balance will shift back to UT. They have been mediocre so its not helping their future recruiting efforts. Its also sad to see teams like Nebraska become just an ordinary P5 school in the BIG whereas they were the sh^t in the BIG12 competing with OK and TX. But i agree but ACC wont really pull in the TX recruits as much as Florida does.
