I watched Texas Tech vs Houston the other day, and it was just a completely different brand of basketball from what Pitt and most of the ACC are playing. Makes me not feel too bad about Pitt missing the tournament. We're not very good.

The refs are letting them play, too. The physicality at this level makes Pitt look like a CYO team

I watched O$U at IL and I was pleasantly surprised at how well that game was played, compared to what we see at Pitt. Pitt isn't even a bad team now. They're worse than that.

Did you see that awful flagrant two they called? And then the coach watches the play on the notebook and completely losses it.

Even if Pitt took care of business and made the dance, there was a zero percent chance that they could make it past the round to 32. Pitt vs a real team like Kansas or isu would be rather painful

The again, losing horribly in the round of 32 is much better than losing to a moribund team 3 days into February to get bounced from the dance
