MSU's defense was poor during Narduzzi's first couple of seasons, they kept giving up big pass plays and we started to call for his head thinking the B1G was too much for him. I remember being very disappointed. Things got a little bit better the second season when his guys started playing quicker but he didn't produce even a pretty good defense until his 3rd year. Then he turn them into monsters in his fourth year.
It is pointless for me to tell you guys to relax and have faith him but for what it's worth I've seen this guy work and his defense will be pretty good by his third year and he'll have you in the hunt for your division title in season four. Hopefully he'll generate enough wins during his first couple of years for you long suffering Pitts guys have a little fun as he gets it going.
