If we hold on we will be UNDEFEATED in ACC play on the road, a very impressive accomplishment. Now if we could only play better at home...

You might want to factor in who we played at home versus on the road. "Playing better" is all relative.

Very valid point. We've lost to Carolina and Notre Dame at home, just Iowa on the road. By far the three best teams we've played so not a huge surprise there.

Also, I'll say it again. Pitt gets knocked for their attendance at Heinz, but the road games we've played have had absolutely pathetic showings by their home fans. The Pitt fans currently are louder than the Duke fans have been all game it sounds like. Seemed that way at GT also.

true but 2 games coming up at home that Pitt should win!!!!, was woried about this game, Loiisville and Miami both beatable!!!!

I think they've always played better on the road, even in loses. Heinz Field has no home-field advantage, but I hope that'll change.

Pitt has *won* more road games than the Nitters will *play*.
They are victims though. They get a participation trophy for arriving at Ohio Stadium this year for the game. It's the least America can do for them, they're just poor victims of sanctions. :p

That was part of why I felt pretty good about today.

Also, the timing was good for this game.

Duke has been playing over its head, especially defensively earlier in the year, and was still reeling from the Miami debacle.

I think Duke is a fairly solid team, respectable but not all that great. But yeah, losing that Miami game in that fashion I'm sure had to cripple them mentally. Nobody likes losing, especially in that fashion.
