They don't deserve to go to the NCAA tournament, Why? They would only go on to lose in the first round. The Duke game was fluke. Oh sure it was a win. But face it. Everyone plays at another level when they play a traditional national power such as Duke. I was more concerned/worried about the games after that which I was correct in feeling. VT is getting better and Buzz has them going in the right direction. GT showed just how bad this team is. They don't guard on the perimeter, are not tough on defense like they were in the Big East, and in years past under Howland and even when Coach Dixon first got there. They play slow down ball which in the ACC as you can see does not work. They have absolutely no outside shooting threat whatsoever, Someone you can count on to make a shot period. i could go on and on but why bother. Look its evaluation time by this staff..Everyone says Pitt is in, but why bother. A mid major deserves to go ahead of them. They just aren't good. Sure they have some talent, but right now, its just stuck in neutral not going forward. Its sad. I say break out film of the old days to remember what toughness was like because its seems like they have forgotten about that aspect of it. Find some shooters on the perimeter. Get athletic please and learn to guard. Heck watch film of UVA how all 5 of their guys guard period. My gosh, get a new system. Everyone knows what your running now, its time for a change in it. Evolve or go the route of 'Remember when...'. Its just frustrating. Every player on that team has to be committed. They all say they are,but the play says otherwise. Thats not only for the players thats for everyone associated with the program.
