Nate Peterman hasn't thrown an interception in any ACC game this year.

14 TDs... 0 picks.... in conference games.

Pitt has a strategy that is basically looked down upon when it comes time for the polls to rank teams and such. They are nowhere near the type of team that will throw the ball all over the field with the QB throwing for 500 yards with 7 TD and 4 INT. They run high percentage routes, Peterman reads the defense well, and he usually for the most part make a smart decision with his throws. This is why Pitt will rarely blow a team out of the water, but they will not be upset by lesser teams very often either. Very similar to how Chryst used Tino his senior year, except Peterman is much better and he also does not choke in big moments, he seems to thrive.

Good observation. But NP really dodged a bullet on that one late, uncharacteristically ill-advised pass to Scott Orndoff in the 4th quarter with Pitt only up one score. That ball should have been a pick-6 - and the game may have been tied with Louie having all the momentum.

Seems like when things are going well for you -- plays like that fall your way. We've been on the other end of plays like that often enough over 30-plus years.

I've been clamoring for more passes to Orndoff, but not like that one...

Go Pitt.
