Maybe he just wants to make sure Capel is the HC if he decides to attend Pitt.then recommit already dammit!
Still guess he gone with Pitt in pocket as fall back. Maybe <10%?
Micah ParsonsI've never seen a kid decommit and then recommit and he wont be the 1st. I keep saying it was so odd that he committed as a Top 30ish player who could have gone almost anywhere and then decommitted just a few months later for seemingly no reason. I could see if he saw a huge rise in his offers or something but a Top 30 sophomore was always going to have blue blood level offers.
In a basketball example, Joe Hampton also committed, decommitted, and recommitted with Penn State.Micah Parsons
You don't decommit from Pitt then pass up on Kentucky, Kansas, etc. to come back
Having them show interest is one thing , but has anyone given him a firm offer ?You don't decommit from Pitt then pass up on Kentucky, Kansas, etc. to come back
Is the general consensus that we (the program) would welcome him back if the blue bloods pass and he wants to re-commit?

Probably that, realizing there’s no reason to rush the decision, and if there’s a chance he ends up really liking another school rather have his options open than have Pitt banking on him for 2 years only to not show up at the last second.Maybe he just wants to make sure Capel is the HC if he decides to attend Pitt.

I think there’s still a really good chance he comes to Pitt. And a verbal commitment that early means absolutely nothing so I’m not sure why some people panicked. I mean what exactly do we have to show from Pryor committing as a sophomore in HS?
Hope you’re rightHE WILL BE A PANTHER!
