JC jersey question, when do they get numbers assigned in NFL??

I see the nfl store has a JC jersey with #0. I think i'll wait til the number is given and get the authentic, stitched #-letter one, white preferably. when do they get their numbers? In rookie camp maybe or are we waiting til camp starts?

That is the pre-order for the jersey. You don't actually get it with the number 0. The fine print states the jersey will ship 2-4 weeks after the official assignment of his number.

They have listed on Steeler Roster at #24 right now!
