Anthony Johnson is raw; there’s no question about it. The Jeannette (Pa.) defensive end only has one year of football under his belt, so he knows he’s got a lot to learn.
But Johnson was at Pitt’s prospect camp on Sunday, and the experience was beneficial for him and the Pitt coaching staff.
“It was a great camp for me, personally,” Johnson told Panther-Lair.com. “I learned a lot and I got to show my talents and I think I did that. I got to show the coaches my speed, how I get to the ball, how I’m aggressive, my motor - I showed everything, my whole game.
“Coach (Charlie) Partridge said I showed him a lot; he said I helped myself by going to the camp. He said I have a lot of ability and a good future ahead of me. We had a great conversation.”
