Girl I'm a Wvu BB fan first and I follow all Psu sports with interest especially football.I was always a Jamie Dixon fan and though he did an excellent job at Pitt.He owned Huggins head to head.Psu will be very good in 2017 your right there. Chambers will make this game into his final 4 just like Darduzzi did the fb game with Psu.Sorry Psu wins this one.

We'll see. I think you are over estimating PSU at this time and everyone (including their ACC members) are underestimating Pitt this year. Do I think we will be fantastic? Probably not. But for the most part this is the same core that got to the tournament last year. What possible reason shouldn't the expectation be there to repeat?
I'm no bb expert but I did win 65% of the Jr Hi bb games I coached!!!!That's a great resume isn't it????? All I have to say there is "No Upside In Talking Down Any Recruit Or Players!" Here is my point.....if Bama's Foster transferred today to Pitt i would welcome it, and since Pitt wanted Robert but Bama got him, I can salute all 3 of them, Pitt that wanted him, Bama that got him, and Foster that is still playing and has NCS Rings, and still can play another year.

Well for the record, 2 of the best players on this team have publicly said they weren't really fond of Jamie's style and that they felt held back. One of these players was even benched last year for his lack of effort. Take it fwiw, but they both have said Stallings approach fits in better with them. My point is I don't think the meshing thing will be an issue.
Don't get me wrong - I'm completely unsure how Pitt will fare in the ACC this year. They have also drawn probably the hardest schedule ever for any team in the ACC. But I still think they get by PSU.

Anyways, anything can happen, heck, we may lose to Robert Morris... but, I think Penn State is not much better than Robert Morris. We do have Artis, Young and Jeter back, although they arent superstars, they are now very experienced players that will help stabilize this team

Actually the correct answer is 22. That's how many National Championships PSU has won as a university since 2000. How many has Pitt won? Now remember these are real and you have to really win them and not retroactively claim them and put fake trophies in a case like we now you like to do with some of your "championships".

Wanny I've been a Psu football fan since the late 60s(I know I lost a lot of brain cells in the 60s)and I became a Wvu bb fan in the Mid 70s.I've been a bb season ticket holder at Wvu since 1978 and a football season ticket holder at PSU!Plus I'm the proud owner of Pitt season tickets in 2016 and my tickets were used last night I might add.I know it's a weird scenario being a fan of two school in two sports!But I'm a weird guy!
Haven't been on the Hoops board since the couple of weeks after the Stallings hire, but I fear the preseason projections will be accurate and Pitt will finish in the bottom quarter of the ACC ... and that may just be the start of a multi-year malaise. Hope I am wrong. However, it is nearly November and I still have no enthusiasm for Pitt hoops after making maybe 80% of the games the last decade or so.
