Thankfully, the publicity blitz for Bud Foster should be over. Hopefully, forever.
But, it continues for Jerry Jones. Here is a Memo to ESPN and every other television network which breathlessly follows his every utterance: We don’t care what he has to say about the Cowboys. Or anything else. They haven’t won the Super Bowl in 25 years. They aren’t going to win it this year. Just because he loves talking to any microphone in sight doesn’t mean he has anything to say.
You don’t show the owners of the other teams 45 times during a telecast. We don’t need to see Jerry Jones and his son 45 times. Or at all. Let him reside in the anonymity he so richly deserves.
