UGA's biggest problem is their offensive line. They are a work in progress.

Chaney is a good OC, but he deserves to be raked over the coals over the asinine 4th down call Saturday.

This is a simpleton article to take some heat off the HC. Chaney's dumb playcall isn't near as unforgivable as what transpired at the end of the Tennessee game. That was total incompetence. Chaney tried to get too cute and outsmarted himself.

It could just as easily be questioned why after UGA takes a 6 point 4th qtr lead, how do you let an offense as horrible as Vandy's drive 85 yds for a TD.

Canada is a better fit for the staff. He will not go off on his own with his sense of control. Narduzzi wants a power running game to be the base that every other option spokes off of. Some spread, some tight sets, some read option plays. Varied yet the OL will be the area Narduzzi will not sacrifice to scheme or flash. He wants physical team and Canada unlike Clancy will not go away from that.

I have posted more than a handful of times– since his exit–how fortunate Pitt was that Georgia was foolish enough to take Chaney off our hands, thinking he was a good get for them. The writing had been on the wall and yet so many coaches and ADs were bedazzled by the mirage of him as some great offensive guru. This guy is possibly the most overrated coach in college football, yet everyone hiring him, can't seem to see past his smile and playful smugness mistaken for confidence and talent and his razzle dazzle playbook which they believe will work. In the end, they finally realize he can't call plays to save his life- They paid big bucks for a great magican and all they got... smoke and mirrors.

At the end of the day, I blame the head coach. It's apparent that when it comes to hiring, dear Kirby just isn't all that Smart... (See what I did there).

I call it the The Leaving Pitt Curse Lists, goes for Coaches, Recruits, and Players too!

Johnny Majors regretted it, Jackie Sherrill too.

Paul Hackett killed off USC worse than Pitt!

Walt Harris became forlorn with his agent at Stanford too had to renew after dumping him! I put Paul Chryst on that lists too, and good riddance.

Toad GraHAM is porking up a smell to a boil in the Tempe Desert.

Even Steve Poison Pederson found that out at NU?

As for Recruits and Players Jonathan Baldwin, Terrelle Pryor, Robert Foster, Tony Morelli, to name just a few. They chose their way and so be it.

Chaney is good but Oh Canada is far better together with Coach Pat & Staff & Players!

Chaney handpicked the OLine coach he's getting paid a ton of money north of $500K he's not going anywhere because Georgia would also lose the Oline coach. Chaney has another year probably two.

Speaking of Oh Canada, when's the last time you saw a team run not one but two flea-flickers in a game?

Be interesting to see what Oh Canada might cook up for the VT game given a couple extra days to prepare...

What I wonder about with all these OCs is how well they can coach up the QB. Walt excelled at getting his QBs ready - what he did with Pistol Pete was amazing. Coach Chryst was strong in that department - the pre-snap read stuff and when to cancel one play and go with the alternate play...

I wonder how Oh Canada rates in that department....

Go Pitt.
