Has played a total of 10 minutes in our last 4 games.

With our lack of front court depth and our recent foul troubles, that is just baffling.

isn't he the more ready to play twin?

WTF?

Capel considers him a perimeter player

I don't understand either why he hasn't played. The play both Grams and Fed all together a couple of games. I don't think it would hurt to try that again on some occasions

Any decent big man could easily back them down , right now they’re simply not strong enough. As they mature and hopefully put on some muscle and improve on their quickness I believe they can be program changers for Pitt .

As bad as Noah Collier was, we could have used him. He's averaging 9 and 9 at W&M and is probably a better rebounder than Guillermo
You gotta be kidding!
We all got a good look
at him when he started
against us earlier this yr.
20% Fg's 50% Ft's. He
also fouled out of the
game Oh wait...he also
had 4 T0's 4 RBs and
4 Pt's. He was horrible
last yr subbing for Hugley.
He was in way over his
head in the ACC.

His numers are better at
W&M because that's the
level he should have been
at in the first place

He is capable of giving you 10 competitive minutes.
Maybe here and there. Possibly. But I still don’t think he was good enough for this level. And I guess it matters not a bit what either of us think. He wanted to play more and he found somewhere where he could.

He barely helped St Bonaventure. He’s about where he belongs now at umass Lowell.

He keeps transferring down. He's having a good year at UMass-Lowell. Averaging 12 and 8 but that's really a "low major." That said, I think he's better right now than Guillermo. Guillermo has far better upside but right now, today, Coulibaly is better.

I would guess so but that’s a pretty low bar. And again he clearly wanted to play more. Averaged a little less than 10 mins per game at St Bon. So he went down further.

Ooooh, now do their game against UMass, when he had 4 points and 4 rebounds. Or their game against St. Francis (NY, not PA) when he had 5 and 5. Or their game against NJIT when he went off for the triple six, 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 turnovers.
That was the point I was making to some else. You get that, don't you? (Well Maybe you don't)

Citing one game's results is meaningless.

I'm pleased with the twins. They're not superstars, but they're only freshmen. I see a lot of potential there.

What we really need for front court depth is Big John Hugley. If we had him and Fede spelling each other, we'd have a very solid frontcourt.

He has height and can give 5 fouls (He also shoots it better than Santos).

We need him in there.

It's tough to play sporadic limited minutes. For whatever reason Nate Santos has become this years "Will Jeffress" in the minds of fans. There's always at least one on every Pitt team. Defense and rebounding often get discounted by fans but missed shots is often the end all in their minds.

Imo, Nate has played pretty well in his current role over the last few games. Keep in mind, he's is playing out of position to help the team. I wouldn't be surprised to see more consistent minutes coming his way.

To your point, it's on Jorge to outplay Nate in practice if he wants some of his minutes. Obviously, that's not happening yet.

So instead, cite them all.

The problem is that they don't actually say what you want them to say, so you can't really do that.

He's playing OK, not great, OK, at UMass-Lowell. After playing below average at St. Bonaventure. Most people look at that, and what he did at Pitt, and conclude that he's playing at the level he belongs. You look at that and think that if he can average decent numbers at UMass-Lowell that obviously he'd be really helping out here at Pitt. And it doesn't actually work that way.

You get that, don't you? (Well, maybe you don't.)

You are tedious. (Not meant as an insult, just being descriptive)

I feel like the only thing you do is pine for bench players

Their legs are the same circumference as my arms.

They need to get on a 4000 calorie per day diet and hit the weight room hard in the offseason.

They can be moved out of the paint way too easily.

I went to high school with Kevin Salvadori. This reminds me of him. At least Gueirrmo does. Very lean. Needed to add considerable weight and strength, but you can’t teach 7’0 and he ended up going big time. Redshirted at UNC under Dean Smith and by his SR. year he was a regular on a national championship team. Too bad the O is gone. The twins could use a large fry with cheese.

I have been wondering the same thing Gary. It almost seems like it’s an injury. You would think somewhere he would’ve got some minutes lately.
