Junior college defensive tackle Kam Carter will be taking an official visit to Pitt next weekend, January 20th. Kam (full name is Kamonte) doesn't have any visits set up for this weekend, but is talking to Virginia Tech and Louisville about a visit for the 27th and has also heard from Texas and Texas A&M as of late.
Carter is a former four-star recruit out of Maryland who signed with Penn State in the 2015 recruiting class. He redshirted his first season at Penn State and was dismissed from the program for "a violation of team rules" prior to the conclusion of the his spring semester.
Carter proceeded to transfer to East Mississippi Community College for his sophomore year of football, where he recorded 36 tackles, two sacks, and an interception in 12 games. EMCC is the site of the recently popular Netflix documentary series "Last Chance U."
Here's a link to Carter's profile coming out of high school and I've also embedded film from his senior year of high school. He was around 260 pounds then and he's around 310 pounds now, per the EMCC roster, so he's added a significant amount of weight and beefed up from OLB as a HS junior to defensive end to defensive tackle.
