...........bigger priority for this staff. I absolutely trust Coach Duzz but that does not mean he is incapable of missing the boat on a player here or there & this Major kid is the real deal IMO.
His film I got less than 10 plays into it & it's all I needed to see.
The kid goes across the middle & makes 8-10 yard Sq. ins into 65 yard scores. He is outstanding w/ his timing going up for balls inside the 10 on corner routes.
The kid has got game & he's a 4.0 student to boot. Just wondering why I have not herd more of a passion for getting this local gem from a school that has been good to Pitt for 40 plus years, at least.

Don't bother telling narduzzi this news, send your resume instead.

Just maybe the young man wants to go away for college. I don't believe it's a Pitt slight.

I don't know the answer to this but it may be because of the projected small size of the class in this cycle.

Okay again I ask, "who else is recruiting him"?
What difference does that make ?
People are excite about Patti and his best offers are from BC , Cincinnati and Rutgers.
But depending on the website besides the three mentioned for Patti has strong interest from Iowa St, Michigan St, and Arkansas.
So does that make you feel better ?
And what does that have to do with the post (Question) ?

he's got some quality P5 offers, wiscy and MSU specifically. nice size too. I'd guess we are going to take one or two WRs, tops and can be pretty selective. OR, maybe the kid lives in penn hills and his mom doesn't want him to go to pitt and wants him to get away from his high school buddies..

Who is recruiting our two current verbals?
who is recruiting them or who has offered them? Two different questions. P5 offers are limited for our 2 verbals, our TE I see BC and for our QB, I see Rutgers. but you never know, maybe both are or where on the radar of many P5 programs and they were waiting to see them play their sr year. I don't know, I sound like a pitt apologist I know but kids can be under the radar at 16, and still develop into good players.

think about it, these two, and most verbals, they wont even see the field at pitt for another 3+ years. Think about our QB, any QB that signs with us, most likely him, he wont even be in the mix to even compete for QB game reps for what, 2020 at the earliest? He still has another year of high school, a redshirt year, another year when Pickett and Mcvittie are upperclassmen, then and probably only then, will he even be In the conversation for QB time. you know how far away that is?

What I like most about this kid's game is how natural & comfortable he looks playing the position. The kid just seems to be very tuned into what a good WR needs to do....running good tight routes, high pointing the ball, using his hands away from his body when catching it, etc. The kid is obviously very cerebral w/ the way he approaches the position. At least it comes across that way watching his film.
The kid has that TBoyd deceptive speed also where he runs away from defenders while appearing effortless.
Not saying he's anywhere close to being a TBoyd but he does have similar style of game.
