Post Independence Day always feels like a countdown to the opening of pro camps and the beginning of the season. Of course we're all pretty excited at Pitt and why wouldn't we be?
I assume that most of us are just football fans in general and some even understand and appreciate the finer points of the game. With that in mind (and because it's more fun to talk football), what are the five big predictions for the upcoming football season (pro, college, or HS)?
Here are mine...(trying to have fun with these)
1. Pitt beats PSU late but with some sort of real or fabricated controversy (just, because).
2. Le'Veon Bell gives the Steelers an excuse to say he's not worth a new contract.
3. Michigan steam rolls the B1G.
4. Arizona beats Cincy in the Super Bowl.
5. The new six division format in HS has everyone completely confused for most of the season.
