I thought Pitt played hard, played really well in the 2nd half, just an unfortunate sequence with Federiko, defense (Bub) just sort of fell asleep a couple times, and Hall got a huge roll on that 3.
That being said, what a game by Hinson. Really, really good. Leggett played well, outside of a bad shot late. Bub should hopefully get some confidence making some shots late.
Beat WVU, get on a roll, and hopefully the team improves. I think the effort today beats a lot of teams, Clemson is probably a top 20 team with Girard though. He and hall just create so many problems.
I still think this team is going to get better. We’re 8 games in, out of like 30. I wouldn’t give up just yet. But WVU looms large. Get a win, in a tough environment, run some OOC games, and get some momentum for the ACC season.
