Naw Kitty Cat...just posting raw numbers and comparing bodies. You're not more talented. Sorry. Do you want it more? We'll see? We'll be ready. Let's brawl!

We'll show up. Don't be a pussycat. Our roster stacks up against yours maybe better than you all thought? Just show up...we'll be there 35-to-40 K strong. Let's brawl.
Don't be delusional! PSU brought 20K to Heinz and got beat! You will have 14K there and be drowned out after our DL gets the shit out of your OL! Go home to western Virginia

but, but you said you were not trolling...have you added lying to your incest vice resume?

might be nice to throw up Clemson's "raw numbers" from last year and see how much of a difference it made..

You know how scared we are? Maybe we'll just forfeit in the face of such overwhelming superior firepower?

If all we bring to acupuncture stadium is 14K, we all might as well stay home! Oh no kittycat. We'll bring a much larger contingent and you wont have any trouble hearing us either.

I didn't know players never develop once they get to HS. I mean Kenny Pickett was a 3 star. Pat Bostick was a 4 star. Max Browne (another USC transfer) was a 5 star.

Once guys are in college, after a year or two, what they were out of HS doesn't matter. Local kids like Lamont Wade and Robert Foster were 5 stars. Tyler Boyd and Jordan Whitehead were 4 stars. 2 guys are making millions in the NFL, the other 2 are serving fries.

It no longer matters...unless you have Alabama or Ohio State talent. Also, we beat Clemson. Twice. You guys never beat Oklahoma.

I assume 28,000 of them will be watching the game at the casino or Southern Tier?
That game was sold out mid summer. Most of the tickets bought up were by WV fans! If they opened up the whole stadium to us, we'd have bought out every seat...but they had to set at least 20K aside for the fair weather homers who haven't had many good reasons to even bother showing up at one of your regular conference games.

Naw Kitty Cat...just posting raw numbers and comparing bodies. You're not more talented. Sorry. Do you want it more? We'll see? We'll be ready. Let's brawl!

Actually what you've done is show that once those guys get to college those "raw numbers" mean very little. The fact that the best linebacker on the field on Thursday night will be a two star ought to show you that. Or if that doesn't do it for you, how about the fact that you start multiple three stars instead of four stars at the same position?

That's true...players do develop. Some even "walk on" and win a starting roll like Reese Smith. Who? You'll get to know him, as well as some of our D-backs who didn't even have any stars after their name! They came in and proved they deserved to play. You'll meet them too. I do agree with you though. Stars only indicate potential talent. It's what you do first in practice, then on game day that counts.

What % of your 4 and 5 stars are transfers? The ones that pan out don't usually transfer to Morgantown, WV.

Exactly. They are starting a five star at quarterback who is a two time failure/transfer. If anyone with even half a brain was rating him today he might be a three star, but he surely wouldn't be a five star or even a four star.

Two of our 4 star LBs were transfers. One from Pedo State, the other from Syracuse. Our starting QB started for the National Champs. One of two of our 4 star linemen transferred in from Va Tech. (but both played HS ball in WV) The rest of our 4 star starters we recruited. Kaden Prather (who will blow it up this year) Justin Johnson...another very talented RB and Dante Stills who was on everyone's board but chose to stay home and make his mark.

No "trolling" here...just a side-by-side comparison of our roster v your own and recruited star players since the two deeps for both outfits have all been announced and set.

Some of you probably weren't aware of just how much talent we've recruited at WVU, and will line up Thursday. You can't say you didn't know after reading our roster and comparing it to your own. See 'ya Thursday! ;)

Thanks for taking the time to present these facts. I knew very little about WVU's roster and I will use your posting as reference during the game.

Exactly. They are starting a five star at quarterback who is a two time failure/transfer. If anyone with even half a brain was rating him today he might be a three star, but he surely wouldn't be a five star or even a four star.
He won the starting job at USC as a true Frosh...then transferred to UGA and won that job over two other QBs, one was another 4 star and the other was a walk on who eventually led them to a National Championship!

He can play...regardless of how many "stars" were put behind his name. Dude can spin it, and he's got some very talented wideouts he'll be "spinning it" to!

He LOVES this Offense....that's why he came to us to play in it!

We'll show up. Don't be a pussycat. Our roster stacks up against yours maybe better than you all thought? Just show up...we'll be there 35-to-40 K strong. Let's brawl.

You misspelled "I'm dumb".

So is the point of this thread to explain Pitt coaches get he most talent out of their roster while the WVU coaching staff underachieves?
Nope...the point is to show you that we've got some kids we're bringing up there who know how to "brawl" and are ready to show the talent they're bringing into the battle. Get ready for a dogfight...or excuse me a "cat fight" 🤣

He won the starting job at USC as a true Frosh...then transferred to UGA and won that job over two other QBs, one was another 4 star and the other was a walk on who eventually led them to a National Championship!

Yes, that is correct. He won the job at USC, got hurt, and wasn't good enough to win the job back. He went to Georgia and won that job, then got hurt and wasn't good enough to win the job back.

It's like you think that getting hurt and not being good enough to win your job back when you are healthy is a sign of being a good player.

His whole post screams "I'm not very bright, but I'm loud".
Nope. I'm just itching to see a nice "brawl"...you too right?

I didn't say that...you did. He didn't lose either job. No one beat him out. A Coaching change forced him to leave USC. They didn't want him to leave Georgia either, but he wasn't willing to sit or prove he deserved to start over the QB who led them to a Trophy after he went down with an injury! He felt he was still good enough to play somewhere else so he entered the portal.

Plenty of teams reached out and wanted him, he narrowed his choices down to three...Mizzou, Oregon State, and us. He visited all three, looked over the rosters, examined the facilities, and met with the Coaches. He once played for our O/C Graham Harrell at USC so they were familiar with each other. At the end of the day, that relationship, and the potential he saw on our roster to put up big numbers made him select us.

He'll be fine. He's going to improve our Offensive production. Our QB last year just wasn't talented enough. He was serviceable, but he lost a lot of games we easily could have won because he lacked "big game" talent. JT has "big game" talent. I'm glad he picked us...he's just what we needed.

We have ourselves a live inbred troll here. Put your money where your mouth is straight up let’s bet. If not get the hell out and get back to your cousin.

I didn't say that...you did.

That's the whole point. You didn't say what was actually the most important part of what happened.

He got hurt and wasn't good enough to get the position back in either place, so he left. That doesn't mean that he can't be good enough to be an improvement for you guys. It just means that, like I said way back at the beginning, that if they were giving him a ranking today he wouldn't be a five star or even a four star.

but, but you said you were not trolling...have you added lying to your incest vice resume?

might be nice to throw up Clemson's "raw numbers" from last year and see how much of a difference it made..
You all hold dear in your hearts 13-9...when you brought an underachieving losing team into Morgantown and knocked us off when we were #2 and poised to play for a title. Congratulations. Now you're insisting that scenario can't work in reverse?

Only the team perceived to be better wins? Know what...just shut up and prove it on the field! You all did when everyone thought you had no chance to beat us. So let's brawl and just see who's better this year huh?

Wrong. I said no one beat him out! No one did. He left USC after a coaching change. OK. I understand that. No one beat him out there or at UGA when he transferred in and won that job. He was their starter...he got hurt...he was ready to resume his starting role that he had won in summer camp. However the team was winning with his replacement QB. They had a monster D, and their coach Kirby Smart didn't want to upset the chemistry they had developed with Bennett. They went on and won it all with him. JT could have come back, but how do you sit the starting QB off a National Championship team? JT didn't want to take away what Bennett had earned, so he decided to leave with two years of eligibility left.

He wasn't beat out, he left to be a starter somewhere else. That "somewhere else" is now West Virginia. You will hear from him playing for us.

So he was afraid of competing for the starting job?

Neither program fares well recruiting high end blue chippers. When you get to rosters of mostly 3 stars, it's all about talent evaluation and development. Pitt's staff under Duzz has been excellent at it. I think Pitt has more talent and I think we'll see that play out Thursday night.

So he was afraid of competing for the starting job?
Nope. He simply wanted to go somewhere else where he could play. Georgia wasn't going to sit Bennett after he won it all. No sane Coach would. Give that kid some credit...when he got his chance he capitalized on it. I seem to remember a QB with the last name of Brady who also took advantage of a similar situation in New England?

No one who understands chemistry on a football team would sit a winning Championship QB. The guy Brady replaced left for Buffalo. Likewise, JT went to another school where he could play.

He found a great home waiting for him in Almost Heaven...Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. BTW, he LOVES it here!

ATHENS — Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is committing to transfer to West Virginia and play for the Mountaineers in the Big 12 this upcoming season, according to a source with direct knowledge.
Daniels will graduate from UGA in May with a degree in psychology, making him immediately eligible as a graduate transfer. Daniels visited West Virginia last weekend.

“I love Georgia and Georgia has always loved me since I’ve been here,” Daniels told ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who also reported the news on Wednesday morning. “It’s been a really, really good and supportive fan base. I’m very, very thankful. I had no problems adjusting. I wouldn’t even consider it an adjustment. Everyone here has been good and honest and good people.”
Daniels was 7-0 as Georgia’s starting quarterback in his two seasons with the program, setting school marks for passing efficiency and yards per attempt before being sidelined by upper-body injuries last fall that led to Stetson Bennett becoming the quarterback.
West Virginia is coming off a 6-7 season under fourth-year coach Neal Brown, who hired former record-setting quarterback Graham Harrell from Southern Cal in January.
“It definitely helped knowing Graham coming into it and having a really good relationship with him,” Daniels said. “Knowing that I trust that offense and that system, and I believe in it. I also feel really comfortable with Coach Brown and the ideas that he has and the way that he runs a program.”
Daniels fits well in Harrell’s quick-strike system, capable of directing an offense from the line of scrimmage with passing accuracy at all three levels into the defense.

The Mountaineers return all five starters on their offensive line and feature talent at the wideout position.

In the one game under Harrell, the 2019 season opener with Fresno State, Daniels directed the offense to more than 300 yards in the first half before suffering a torn ACL in the second quarter and missing the remainder of the season.
Then-freshman Kedon Slovis replaced Daniels in the Trojans’ offense in 2019 and went on to have a Freshman All-American campaign.
As fate would have it, Slovis transferred to Pitt, the team Daniels and West Virginia will open the season against on Sept. 1 in Heinz Stadium in Pittsburgh.
Daniels left USC in the spring of 2020, interviewing several head coaches and offensive coordinators before choosing Georgia based on conversations with Kirby Smart and offensive coordinator Todd Monken.

Daniels started the final four games of the 2020 season, passing for more than 400 yards in his first outing, and was the highest-rated returning quarterback in the nation.

At this point last year, was Georgia’s starting quarterback, directing a Pro-Style spread offense that Smart said was ahead of what proved to be a historically dominant defense before receiver George Pickens went down with a knee injury.

Daniels suffered an upper-body injury in the final fall scrimmage. The injury was kept hidden from the media but appeared to limit Daniels in the opening game against Clemson, as he donned a flak jacket for the 10-3 win over a Tigers team that finished second in the nation in scoring defense.
Daniels attempted to play through the injury in September, further aggravating it with an oblique injury and then lat sprain that led him to miss three games.
In his final start for Georga, against Vanderbilt, Daniels opened the game 9-of-10 passing to lead Georgia to a 35-0 first-quarter lead before exiting the contest after aggravating the upper-body injury.
Smart told ESPN leading up to the game with Florida he was not sure which quarterback on his team was better, Daniels or Bennett.

“I’m not sure we know who the better one is based on which game plan we have,” Smart said in the ESPN interview.
“There are teams we play that we have to be able to use the quarterback in the run game. Well, that’s Stetson. There are teams we play that you have to get the ball out quickly and be really accurate. That’s JT.”
Smart ultimately stuck with Bennett, with Daniels providing assistance and support from the sideline as the Bulldogs went on to win the CFP Championship Game.
Daniels had visited Oregon State and Missouri prior to choosing West Virginia, with Tigers’ coach Eli Drinkwitz the first to call the former Georgia QB when he entered the portal on Jan. 19.
Daniels is the third 5-star quarterback to transfer out of Smart’s Georgia program, joining Jacob Eason and Justin Fields. He is also the third 5-star recruit who played at UGA to enter the NCAA transfer portal this spring, joining Amarius Mims and Clay Webb, who entered the portal on Sunday.

I wouldn't say Pitt has "more" talent, but your Coaches do a great job developing talent. Our staff also does a fabulous job finding and developing talent that fits what we want. That's what they're all paid to do. It will be a great game between two evenly matched teams with kids who've proven they're ready to play.

All I want to see is a nice "brawl"....I love a good cat fight!

You must be happy to just have no life and do nothing but post on a competitor's message board and live through your team vicariously. I got news for you, junior. None of us, you included, will be playing this game. I know the braindead morons at wvu like to "brawl', as you put it, because that's how they can show their masculinity to their sisters and cousins.

This game is entertainment only and a good outlet for us, nothing more. It means little and the results will be forgotten quickly. Sure we want to win and probably will. But knock yourself out with posting like this. You are acting like the fool you are and we are laughing at all of you hoopies. LOL!

Just one suggestion. If you're going to post here, at least know your facts and quit acting like a fool so much.
