Just left the game, good crowd

It has been a good season. First division title. First conference championship game. Capitalize and recruit better. All in all, better season than expected. Many predicted no wins last 6 games or so of season.

Eh, it’s Pitt. This is about as good as it gets.

surprised by the Pitt fan support, and the Clemson fans were very nice.

Really good season, had a great time and although we certainly missed Morrissey and Pickett looked like The Sun Bowl part 2, still great time, good season and awesome to be here!

Good Job! You guys sounded loud on 3rd Down. Safe travels!

Your a good fan and I wish I could have been there too. Thank you for supporting our boys they deserve it they had to scrap for everything they got this year.

You guys sounded great a few times.

Not sure I would call this a good season though. In fact, if we lose in the bowl, I think it will go down as another crap sandwich. Winning this division just lost credibility. You just can't go 7-6 and look rediculous every time you go in front of the cameras. Miami and VT were down an NC was a mess. We got the division by default. The entire college football universe is laughing at us. Like our Fiesta debacle, we've found a way to turn something good into a piece of Pitt.

Just got back to my hotel. A great Pitt turnout much better than I expected, especially on a crappy weather day. Pitt fans certainly aren't the issue. Narduzzi on the other hand? Great call coach to be throwing the ball with 25 seconds left in the half from your own 23. Genius!! Especially when you consider that you get the 2nd half kickoff. This "gym teacher" is too much.

It was like a Clemson home game in our side club section.
They had some silly cheer where they spelled clemso...pause ‘n’.
But, all and all they were friendly

Had a blast as well. Finally drying off.

Still proud of this team. I know coastal was down but that wouldnt stop pitt from not winning it in the past.

They did it and should be proud.

Had a great time as well. Was probably 25-75 Clemson at least, but then South Carolina is like 20 minute drive, so that was going to happen. Met a lot of great traveling Pitt fans though. Really good turn out by us!

Agree. Shocked by the Pitt fan turnout. Alumni event was great. 15k Pitt fans on a miserable night to see Narduzzi and Co. Soil the bed.

Back from Charlotte, sitting in front of the fireplace to get truly dry. Great time, good event, weather sucky. The stadium updates nice since our last visit.

Too many Clemson fans unable to cope with beers sales at the stadium.

Clemson d-line where monsters and I think were the root of pre-snap penalties and trying to come up with a play. Pickett was running for his life then trying to do too much putting the team on his back. I think the difference was coaching. Clemson was not going to get best on jet sweeps (again).
They had the athletes and should give Alabama all they can handle

The jet sweeps worked pretty ok I thought. We ran fairly well, just not having any passing game hurt. Also giving them 14 points wasn’t good either. All in all defense played very well.

A few observations:

People kept giving my crew extra drink tix at the alumni event-thanks. Had a great time there.

Crazy, but I enjoyed my time in the huge line to get in the stadium. A lot of fun chants from Pitt folks. Clemson folks good natured. Shoes muddied.

Never thought I would say this but Heinz club area far surpasses BOA. BOA club area was small and claustrophobic (although it had a second floor that I did not visit).

I drove over 900 miles-worst part is on way home when you hit 79 in wv and think you are close but realize you still have about 3 hours.

We'll be back.

H2P!!!

Ffrench ran one for 16 yards. Carter ran one for 9 yards, and also ran 7 others for 13 yards. In short, we ran 9 of them and 2 of them actually worked. And they all failed for the same reason, we couldn't get to the edge on Clemson's defense. The running plays that actually worked were when we gave the ball to either Hall or Ollison and they ran the ball right at Clemson. Those two combined averaged 5.2 yards per carry, and that includes several plays where we tried to get those guys to the outside and had them running horizontal rather than vertical, none of which worked.

The one thing we did all day that worked relatively consistently was Hall and Ollison running downhill. We didn't do that nearly enough. We did the jet sweeps and wide running far too often.

As a Clemson fan, I was surprised at how many Pitt folks were there. And those around me were very loud. Everybody seemed to be getting along great. Glad to get our first win over the Panthers, but expect we will be meeting again many times.

I went to the game in Clemson, and sure we won and all... but I am in my 40s and that night was the best sporting event I have attended not as a player. The people at Clemson were amazing, loud, energetic, fun, but respectful as heck and even when we won we still had zero cussing at us or anything.

Just a great fan base you have
