He squares his shoulders up so well. Especially in the lane with the elbow jumper. The kid is special.
He was the guy today !What he has done as a freshman is so impressive. Always seems to be in the right spot and has tons of confidence in his jumper. I don’t know if he’ll ever be “the guy” but he will be a great 4 year player.
I guess. I think what I meant is he’ll never be ball dominant and break guys down with the dribble. More of a catch and shoot/3 dribble and layup. But I guess he could still be the guy doing that.
If I was him I'd be non stop working on handle in the offseason.Well he did that in the last couple minutes - got fouled. I think it's inevitable he becomes that player, it's what he did in high school, and he has plenty of ability. When he starts taking guys off the dribble late in shot clocks - that's probably the last season he will be a Panther.
Favorite part about him -
Probably half his point were just going to the rim and finishing off of Misses and feeds
We don’t need him dribbling and breaking anyone down, we need him in the right place right time. He has solid work ethic, and really hits the rim hard on rebounds. Beautiful shot, great movement, just a solid player who will be a high scoring guy for us on a consistent basis.Great anticipation, right place at the right time.
Those soft rims didn’t help X or Trey !The rims were quite soft yesterday. All the good you guys wrote is true, but everyone including JC got help from the licorice like rims yesterday.
Explain his numerous nothing but net and banking it in?The rims were quite soft yesterday. All the good you guys wrote is true, but everyone including JC got help from the licorice like rims yesterday.
Coach disagrees. He said it in the postgame presserWe don’t need him dribbling and breaking anyone down, we need him in the right place right time. He has solid work ethic, and really hits the rim hard on rebounds. Beautiful shot, great movement, just a solid player who will be a high scoring guy for us on a consistent basis.
