I'm in Miami and went to see Ky vs South Fl game.
For those of you who bad mouth stub hub got tickets for $12 /16 with handling on the corner 17 rows up.
Ky stable of players is beyond impressive as are their fans.
80% of the fans at the game were in blue , vocal and not local. They traveled here to see the game and party. Made me jealous a game as uncompetitive as this game was ( Ky could have won by 40/50 pts if they wanted to ) at the Pete you could here a pin drop,these guys were still screaming up by 30 with little time left and believe it or not no one left the building early . Can't imagine a game at Rupp area.
Experiencing this in person you realize the hugh difference in playing for a program like Ky vs Pitt.
On the court Ky is long ,lean ,fast and quick ,they have a couple of good outside shooters . They are very young at this point ,but with this much talent they'll be there in March just like last season.
Say what you want about how they get their players , but if I was that talented to be recruited by them it would be hard to say no, the fan experience is far beyond what we get as Pitt fans. They have great players ,they win and the fans have a blast .
