Looks like he is headed to UNC. I guess that is why we have been bringing in Safeties for visits.
Looked like a decent prospect at star LB.One of the better offer sheets (Nebraska, UNC, NC State, MD) from this class.
Defensive recruits are really tough to see leave. I really feel like the defense has played some good football and we have sent quite a few secondary players to the league lately. I could see it easier on offense like the TE who says we don't throw it (understandable). Bummer, but kids change their minds all the time all across the country. Heck, Michigan just lost a 5 star to bama after being committed since sept. it's just the game. Only sad part to me is that he potentially will go to an in conference team UNC. Good luck hope you change your mind and realize Pitt is a great place to play.
We are really loaded in the defensive backfield. Not that it is good to lose a kid, but doesnt hurt as much for sure.
if he goes to a religious school after talking to god, would that be a recruiting violation?

Great, but the kid was being recruited as a linebacker. Watch his highlights and that’s where he played this year. He was 1st team all conference as a LB.
Expected slot more from Harley overall. Getting seriously frustrated with lb recruiting. And coaching.
He ain’t no good. Only a 3 Star player. Now, if we lose one of the 4 star players that have no other P5 offers , then that would be tragic...

A good example of why WVU has basically stopped recruiting in Florida. A commit means you will probably get a visit. We still spot recruit there but have turned our efforts more toward Georgia.
Pitt in the past year has offered a ton of prospects from Georgia but so far with no success. I don't recall one verbal from there in the past class or this one unless I don't remember one. Despite this decommit I think our staff is doing a nice job in Florida and must continue.
Who cares what WVU does, FL has been good to Pitt. A few expl...our 2 best DL Weaver & Camp are from FL. Mathis one of our top 3 corners & the best athlete on the team from FL. Young talents with upside in Carter, Williams & Louis from FL.
I'm not heart broken about this kid. He has to do what's best for him but to be honest our young linebackers look really good. We will be fine there with it without him he was not a plug and play from what I seen. Maybe NC is gonna give him a shot at safety.
For most of us, especially the "us's" who are in the 60+ god don't want to have a conversation with God anytime soon!
