"Strengths:
Kitchart is ultra-tough and competitive. He's cut-up and pretty strong, has long arms and looks every bit of 6-foot-1. He attacks the rim hard in the open floor, puts immediate pressure on opposing defenses and is relentless getting to the rim and also a good passer when forcing the defense to collapse. He also has a rare ability to go from 60 to 0, stopping on a dime for his pull-up. He's equally quick east to west as he is fast north to south and is an excellent on-ball defender who is capable of picking up the length of the floor and steering the ball.
Weaknesses:
Kithcart knows only one speed - and it's full speed head. He needs to learn to slow down at times and vary his pace, especially at the next level when transition opportunities aren't quite so prevalent. He tends to distribute in bunches - he's typically looking thinking attack first and pass second, but he's capable of being a distributor first and foremost, even while playing with his typical aggressive style, as he showed in Las Vegas during the Adidas Summer Championships when he handed out 10 assists in two different games. Defensively, he's potentially elite, but just needs to be a little more disciplined staying down in his stance.
