Saw him play last year wasn't impressed. He of course was out rebounding a bunch of 6'3 kids. Poor FT shooter. Poor touch around the rim. Very rAw project. Got all his points on put backs. Very athletic.

This seems to be the assessment of most everyone here who has seen him.

I do think they felt they could live without him.

They might have one big man they could make a run at in this class that most of us think is a better prospect. I also think they have offers out and might be in good shape with a lot of really interesting big men for the next class. IMO, their first priority in this class was guards.

I know you can't teach size, but I feel like they are pursuing better 4/5 recruits. I saw him once last year, and he played fine - the competition he was playing against was not great. I would expect more flat out domination on both ends.
