No he is really announcing a Top 15. He announced it last week and it caused quite the stir lol.
LOL! This is going the distance from what I hear. Pitt commitment this early would floor me with happiness. A PSU commitment would floor me in a bad way. Like a knockout punch to the gut.

If I was being recruited I'd come out with a top 127 list(every FBS except Penn State) then remove a school every day until signing day
I'd call Franklin to make sure he knew he finished 128th. And then I'd call every Rivals writer for an interview about Ped State finishing 128th. And I'd call them Ped State

I'd secretly commit to Pitt so the coaches know, but would publicly lean Penn State so they think they have me and don't focus on other players at my position, and then spurn them on LOI day.

Hahaha. That might be the best idea I've ever heard of. I would just love for a kid from PA one day to come out early in the process and announce he won't even listen to what penn State has to offer. Sadly though I doubt any high school kids have that much of an issue with the penn State program.
This one is going the distance. He's not deciding until the fall and he already said he's going to take visits to some SEC schools this summer.
The Snake Oil Salesman from Creepy Valley already got Sanders from Woodland Hills and Wade from Clairton. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Penn State landed Raines, I'm actually almost expecting it.
Penn State is going to have a top 5 class and a top 5 ranking by the beginning of next September while Pitt isn't even going to be in the same galaxy as that.

Sounds like Raines will be the annual PITT/PSU recruit battle (Whitehead, Sanders, Hamlin, Wade). He'll take a bunch of visits but this will be a drawn out process between two schools. It hurt to lose 2 of the 4 listed above but it will be a real punch to the stomach if we lose a Quip to the Pedos. With that being said, my gut tells me that we can't lose a kid from Aliquippa.
