You really don't get many chances to make significant hires and when you do it defines who you are and your career as an administrator. This hire shows us Pitts Barnes doesn't have any vision. If you call this hire safe that's the kindest definition I can think of . This hire will not elevate the bb program to the upper half of the ACC let alone to a national championship caliber program. Pitt needed to take a chance to elevate the program , this hire has done the opposite and has totally demoralized the fan base. What a blunder .

Agree with you. The program reached a plateau with Dixon and I can't see Stallings getting the program any higher. Just my opinion
