2 years mean nothing as far as a 2 way, doesn’t count against the cap. 2 way contracts don’t have buyouts. Since he was cut before the season the largest bonus he can get is an exhibit 10 bonus, last year this was 75K. He would most likely only get the bonus if he goes to training camp with the Lakers. Basically go to camp with them and accept an assignment to their G League team

I guess I dont understand the purpose of signing him to a 2 year contract and then cutting him with little to no buyout. That contract seems way to favorable to the NBA team but I guess for these types of deals, fringe NBA guys will sign anything that gives them a chance. I hope he catches on somewhere. I still think he plays in the NBA.

Blake will be fine. If an NBA team doesn’t sign him he’ll make some nice coin in the Euro leagues
