Lavin and St. Johns mutually agreed to part ways today. Has to help somewhat with Diallo. Seems like ISU and KU are the leaders for Diallo, but it's gotta help Pitt to some point. Hoiberg and the NBA whispers too have to be in Diallo's ears - hopefully from Pitt saying that to him. KU has some big men too still on their roster and who knows who stays/goes on their team: Ellis, Alexander, Traylor maybe? Pretty crowded front court for them.
Also, Barnes is likely done tonight according to Twitter reports. Can Pitt and Smoke get in with Eric Davis from The Family in Michigan?? Will he get out of his LOI and re-consider schools? Pitt was never in the picture anyways in his recruitment.
Hopefully some insiders can chime in on this and hopefully Pitt can be the beneficiary for once in coaches getting fired, etc.
