The coaches knew they couldn't match up man to man & play to play. They knew the defensive personnel that they inherited, couldn't stand up all game. So, they took some chances on offense. They used flea flickers, reverses, Boyd passing, Whitehead, etc... Yeah Nate had some bad throws and the receivers dropped many too. At least the coaches tried some "splash" plays, knowing they couldn't win with a vanilla offense.
In a few years when they get their players to fit their system, watch out! I just hope they can step up the D line recruiting to do so. It all starts with the D line, then you can blitz corners, play aggressive man to man, etc...
