Unfortunately my power went out last night with Pitt up 48-45 and didn't come back on until 17 seconds left and down 6 but here are my thoughts:
- Enough with giving Maia the John DeGroat treatment. He had the same amount of fouls as points and rebounds combined, including a horrific miss on an under the basket lay up.
- As much as we complain that J-Rob doesn't run the break well at least he doesn't force it when it isn't there. More than half the TOs came from Young and Artis and almost as many as Louisville had total.
- FTs - in a game they lost by 7, making 66% of your FTs is killer. Mike Young was 0 FOR FOUR.
- Luther looks like he's good enough to start. Has outside range, hustles, and just seems like a player who thinks before he does something.
- 70 points is our magic number. We need to score 70 to win. They had a chance to put it away up 8 points and imploded.
