I've been traveling for work so I know this is a few days late. Some quick thoughts:
- For the first time since the start of ACC play, we looked like we played within an offensive system. Lowe was making good decisions, not forcing it, and getting open looks.
- Great work holding Lampkin to 6 boards. They attacked him all night.
- Great work also winning the rebounding battle.
- This is how we imagined Leggett, Lowe, and Austin playing all year. Austin is such a stat sheet stuffer. 19 points, 3 blocks, 3 steals, 4 boards.
- Lowe only had one turnover.
- GDG was great on the boards with a game high 8.
- I don't care what our "chances" are. Just keep winning and it'll put pressure on the committee. Win against ND tomorrow and we are 17-10 and 8-8 in the conference. We just need the media to pick up the narrative on how we have finally found our footing. We could still finish 20-11 and 12-9. All we have to do is then win a game or two in the acc tourney.
