Did anyone notice there were as many Cubs fans in the 9th as Pirate fans. Even a playoff team can't get fans to stay in the stadium late in a game. And who are the JO fans who sell their tickets to Cubs fans for a one game playoff.

Ticket Brokers are the ones who sold the tickets. There are probably a few thousand broker-owned tickets ar PNC and most other places.

And losing 4-0 at 11PM on a work/school night is more justification for leaving than 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon.

There weren't as MANY Cubs fans in the 9th, that's almost the.. "ND had 1/2 the stadium" nonsense. They stood out because they were the only ones making noise... There were probably 2,000-2,500 tickets with people wearing blue. People sell tickets to make a big profit, AND MLB does grant some tickets to opposing playoff teams (just a couple hundred).

Cubs fans travel well, always have.. I saw a few leaving work yesterday, around the north shore area. LIke Joe said, they stand out when they are happy and cheering and pirate fans are sitting there with head in their hands..

My brother-in-law and one of his clients went online, bought 4 tickets and flew in from Chicago yesterday. Tickets were available through multiple brokers.

I think we must have been watching a different Cubs / Pirates game
