Psu played like crap but the #2 team in the country played worse. Lets move on to threads and discussion about OUR big game Thursday night against VT. Last season we had a big game on Thursday night and couldn't pull it out. Let's make that home record 5-0. Hail 2 Pitt

OK, let us review Conference Rankings:
Week 9 ACC Football Rankings
1. Clemson (1)
2. Louisville (2)
3. FSU (3)
4. North Carolina (4)
5. Virginia Tech (5)

The Hokies bounced back from their disappointing loss at Syracuse by crushing Miami to improve to 3-1 in ACC action. Thursday’s game at Pittsburgh likely will be the toughest of their final five, with Duke, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and Virginia remaining after that.
6. Miami (6)
7. Pittsburgh (7)

Pat Narduzzi’s team is riding a three-game winning streak, although the competition hasn’t been all that tough with victories over Marshall, Georgia Tech and Virginia. They had Saturday off before Thursday night’s tough home contest against Virginia Tech.
8. Wake Forest (9)
9. North Carolina State (8)
10. Syracuse (10)

11. Georgia Tech (11)
12. Virginia (12)
13. Boston College (13)
14. Duke (Last Week – 14)

BIG TEN:
1. Michigan (2)
2. Ohio State (1)
Most everyone figured Ohio State and Michigan would both be undefeated when they met in late November for the Big Ten West title. Instead, the Buckeyes couldn’t hold a 21-7 lead at Penn State in the fourth quarter and suffered a loss few saw coming.
3. Wisconsin (3)
4. Nebraska (4)
5. Penn State (5)
The annual White Out game was a stunner. The Nittany Lions’ blocked field goal and return for a touchdown proved to be the difference in a 24-21 victory, and the defense stepped up on Ohio State’s final drive. Huge win for coach James Franklin.

6. Iowa (7)
7. Minnesota (6)
8. Northwestern (8)
9. Maryland (9)
10. Indiana (10)
11. Michigan State (11)
12. Purdue (12)
Gerad Parker’s debut as interim coach wasn’t all that bad considering what Purdue had become under Darrell Hazell. The Boilermakers hung around with Nebraska in Lincoln before falling, 27-14, and showed some improvement, even if it was just a little.

13. Illinois (13)
14. Rutgers (Last Week – 14)

Big 12 Football Rankings – Week 9
1. Baylor (1)
2. West Virginia (2)
Oklahoma and Baylor still remain on the schedule for the Mountaineers, but next week’s game at Oklahoma State has the potential to be a good one and could be a trap game for unbeaten West Virginia.
3. Oklahoma (3)
4. Oklahoma State (5)
The Cowboys have won three in a row, although the last two haven’t been all that impressive against the bottom two teams in the conference. They barely escaped with a seven-point win over Iowa State two weeks ago before struggling with Kansas and finally pulling away. Oklahoma State will need to be much better when it hosts West Virginia next week
5. TCU (4)
6. Kansas State (7)
7. Texas (6)
8. Texas Tech (8)
9. Iowa State (9)
10. Kansas (Last Week – 10)
