In general officiating has gotten worse in college football. The Pac 12 doesn't have any teams in the final four so that's probably the reason. I'll bet you a nickel that's it's Ed Hoculi kid.

It makes sense when only 5 Power Conferences and 1 being left and maybe someday 2 and the Big-12 can't have 12-0 or 13-0 Winner without a Championship Game along with Notre Dame or BYU that go 12-0 without a Championship game.

It makes sense the Conference being left out should pick the Refs!

The only thing that concerns me there is that back in 2003 after Miami beat Nebraska pretty bad the year before, it was Nebraska Ref that called a Non-Interference Penalty on Miami that allow PSU to win the NCS that year??? Some Bookies speculated that was payback for Miami beating of his NU?

Yet, this is rare, but Ref Guman made rare calls in favor pf Paterno in the 1970s-80s to, as well as some Big ten refs against Paterno teams in the 1990s and 2000s.

It happens rarely but there is no denying it has happen and 13-9 and other key games were clear it happens!

Agree they should not have that. Always been something very fishy about that to me. But kudos for leaving the ACC (refs) out of the playoffs!

The only officials more crooked than the ACC are the west coast gang...And that goes back decades and then some
But with no skin in the game you might be right

ACC officials shouldn't even be allowed near ACC games next year.

Fire the lot of them, and replace them with the best high school officials you can find. SO many times this year the ACC officials simply got the most basic things wrong.

And that includes the video booth review officials, who were especially ghastly this year.
