A friend gave my wife and I a free night at a hotel in the north hills complex in Raleigh on Monday, having an eight month old, we both jumped at the opportunity for a easy night away that was close to home. At the hotel, Michael Johnson Jr, a 4 star dual threat qb from Oregon was there with his family on an official visit. When my wife and I got back from downtown Raleigh after having dinner, we ran into the coaches that were hosting him. We were bs’ing and I asked them what they thought of Pitt’s weekend, and if they ever saw anything like that. They took a half assed shot joking they have to go to Florida because they can’t recruit back home. I just looked at them when they expected me to laugh, that’s when my wife informed them that I was a Pitt fan. They then said they were joking and that Pitt had a good weekend. Thought I would share, because the view that Pitt can’t recruit in PA is a mindset throughout the conference. I could care less what those idiots thought, but the viewpoint of other ACC schools of Pitt is what I said above.
