I spent a little time watching some highlights over the break and came away very impressed with Zubovic, Danielson, and Kradel.

I think Zubovic could play next year. He's already big and moves extremely well. He will be a very good left tackle at Pitt. His ranking is far too low.

Danielson plays like an animal. If Pitt wasn't deep at DT I would say he plays next year. Undervalued ranking.

Kradel looks like a solid player with a mean streak. RS him and bulk him up, maybe teach him to play center. Ranked about right as a high 3 star.

Palmer is long and athletic. Need to RS and add some mass. More of a project than the other three. Ranked about right as a middle 3 star.

We should probably red shirt all 4 if we can. Danielson may be the one could get some time.

Pitt can't afford to RS any talented player who can contribute right now. That was Narduzzi's downfall last season when he held back Pickett when he should have played game one. We ain't Alabama with 20 4 and 5 stars enrolling.

Pitt is replacing both OT positions and an OG position. I thought Bookser was their best lineman last year and would prefer to keep him where he is.

It's likely to be a combo of 4 or 5 guys fighting for the 2 OT spots. If Zub can help I wouldn't mind him sharing some playing time with someone else.

Pitt also can't afford to play guys who aren't mature enough to contribute just to play them. This especially goes for 18 year old linemen going up against 21 year old men. We have enough guys already in the system who will be stronger and more mature than the incoming freshmen. If 1 or 2 of them prove otherwise then they should play.

Yeah, that’s a very bad take, IMHO.

We need to build a program, not just a series of teams, and the best/only way to do that is by filling it with mature players who are actually ready to play and contribute. I would redshirt everyone I possibly could. Playing 18-year-olds is a bad idea unless they are elite athletes and we’re not getting too many of those.

I don't see any of these guys starting. Especially early.

Z was already told he's playing guard. Not saying that won't change but I think they like taller players at the tackles.

You rarely want a true freshman playing O-line for you. I very much hope Zubovic isn't needed next year. Would be a very bad sign for our O-line depth.

I have not watched any of these kids play. I really hope they can help, but I don't think any play next year. I think the only true freshmen who would have a chance to play are the one's who enroll early and get the spring drills under their belt

You would think Brown comes in and starts unless he is extremely dissapointing.

Drake, for how they talked about him last year, I think he would have been in the rotation if Hodges would not have transferred.

Warren is a massive young man and I was extremely high on him out of high school. I see him as the 3rd swing OT next year.

Pilato will be in his 4th year with the program and should be able to provide depth.

Morgan also in his 2nd year should be a depth OT.

Didn't realize they want Zubovic at guard, although I can see it with his run blocking and how well he moves.

You don't redshirt anyone that can help you win. They have big holes to fill on the OL. Whoever is the best option should play.
