Looks like Pitt is heading towards a #1 NIT seed(so far)

Bracket Matrix is a compilation of 70 bracketologists and we are the 2nd best 9 seed there. Only 2 have us out at this point. That's a much better guage.

Beat Wake
1-2 vs Syr, Lou, Duke
1-1 vs VT/GT

I have to agree with SMF here. 3 more wins and have a good showing in the ACCT and we're in. Steal one more win and get to 10-8 before the ACCT, and I don't see how we could be out in any way.

Then the question becomes what will we do once we are in and playing whoever we will be playing?

First job: GET IN! Then we'll worry about what happens after we're in.

If we beat Syr, Lou, or Duke, we can lose by 30 in our first game in DC and still make it.

People are asking what is different about this year's bubble? Well, the A10, American, and Mountain West may get as few as 3 teams combined with a max, probably of 7. You can usually count on those leagues combining for 13 or 14 bids. That opens up a ton of spots for teams like Pitt.
