Its unbelievable to me that the P and pass defense were that great and we still got obliterated. The more I think about it within the context of these past few years, the more pissed I get. Its like growing up a Pirate fan. You will lose 13-8 or you will lose 2-0. Just when you think you know why you suck, a whole new type of sucking presents itself.

Miami’s QB stinks, they should’ve killed us...he missed so many wide open receivers. On top of that, Miami’s receivers had some bad drops. We were lucky to be in the game.

Our OC didn’t adapt. Miami was more athletic, but we continued to try and run the same plays. There should’ve been more misdirection and they should’ve tried to spread the field. It was a poor effort from the Offensive side.

Ummmmm he had 5-6 huge punts and one shank. He's been averaging over 45 yards per punt over the past few games as a true frosh. He was the best player on our roster by a huge margin tonight.
He's been very good for over a month as a true freshman after having never plated a game in his life and having been horrid for his first few games. Are you people insane? I mean, what did this kid do to you morons? He was awful against PSU while playing in his first ever football game, in bad conditions in a huge environment and idiots on this board actually blamed HIM for that total drubbing. Now he plays a great game and people are calling him out again. Between this and the targeting non-call, I think I may be losing it.
He was absolutely atrocious for about half the season. The positive is he has gotten better, but he is far from being a great punter.

Our punter had A great kick. Overall 8 of his 12 punts were under 36 yards.
The pass defense was great though
Pass D was good thanks to all those drops. I thought the punter with his size was going to make the tackle on the punt return.
