Shawn Watson has to be fired and I think Narduzzi should be on the hot seat. I really do. Winning the Coastal was cool but it seems like ages ago now. We got manhandled by a 6 win Miami team at the time and we look utterly inept tonight against Clemson offensively. I mean 5 yards passing, really? really? really? Pickett almost got Ollison's head taken off with that stupid lob to him on 3rd and 6 when he missed the slant for the first down. Even Herbstreit criticized Pickett for not even looking at the defender who was coming right at Ollison. Seriously this game is embarrassing because I think the defense has held its own. It's just impossible when you get no help from the offense. I think watching some of these blowouts this year really re-emphasizes for me the need for stepping up the recruiting game. Who we bring in now just aren't cutting it. And I'm sorry but our classes have gotten worse every season since Narduzzi became head coach.
So with that being said I will focus my energy on the exciting Pitt basketball coach, a guy who knows how to recruit and has turned the squad into a realistic NIT team perhaps this season and are much closer to the NCAA's then most thought. They are fun to watch. This Pitt football team with an offense philosophy from the 50's just isn't fun at all. It's excruciating to be honest. And I have no interest in watching an avg boring Pitt team playing in another long line of garbage bowls in which they'll most likely lose because the quarterback we have isn't good.
Basketball season will be in full swing with lots of fun ACC games soon.
