I think it is safe to basically forget the idea of Marcus LoVett. His recruitment is bizarre to say the least, and I had a hard time believing Pitt even offered. Nick Irvin tells me that Pitt is right in the mix, but LoVett's father has a different story. He said that St. John's is basically the only school recruiting him hard. He also said that New York City would be a great area to "market him," and that he doesn't think Chicago has marketed him properly. I think we can all see that this recruitment is probably not headed to Oakland.
